In Texas, any unsolicited intervention is considered "an act of war", and thus, the consequences are carried by the perpetrator, and if he/she dies while perpetrating an "act of war", so be it.

    Unsolicited acts include:
    Entering a premises without permission
Reaching into an open car window
    Physical aggression
One of the strangest ones... Removing garbage without permission (you could get shot just by looking for titbits in a dustbin?)
I'm sure there are many more weird reasons to be shot in Texas, but, if a male shoots a female for whatever reason, it is considered unjustified?

A lot of the laws, "live by the gun, die by the gun" come from the old wild west and are still active today.

I could live by those rules.
I don't think they have the problem of garbage pickers throwing their garbage all over the street before pick it up can collect it.
