Now that's what I call having a handle on your suppliers and deliveries. I take my hat off to you Dave!

The size of the All Gold catsup was reduced a few months ago. I don't see the point TBH, most supermarkets give the price per kilo under the price per unit so the price increase was immediately noticable.

You will be surprised to see how gullible consumers are. That is the only reason why cheap junk can be sold in this country as branded fashion.

With food its the same. We do not weigh up alternatives or consider the cost of products. We get fooled by packaging, displays and "specials". That is why the larger chain stores study consumer behaviour, so that they can max the return per customer.
Excellence is not a skill; its an attitude...

    Dear Consumer,

It is with great pleasure to announce the reduction in size of our All Gold Tomato Sauce bottles. We reduced the actual size from 750ml to the super 700ml size but wait there's more...... We now use 46 tomatoes as to the original recipe of 36 which makes the sauce thicker so you can use less...... Go to your nearest groceries store now and pick up your super size All Gold Tomato sauce!!!!!!

I love those guys that say "for you I'll make a special price."

    I always think:

Buy now - it's going at a special price for today only!

30% more than we normally charge.

You've hit the nail on the head, research shows that packiging is actually what sells the product instead of the actual product, that's why the guys at marketing departments of different companies get paid top salaries
