    @Kahoel117 - I've actually bought nothing from Alibaba yet! Like I mentioned, I'm REALLY new to this buying from China thing so I've just started researching it. Want to get as much info together before I commit any money to buying anything. Think there's still plenty of info I need to get!

    How to manage the quality downwards drift over successive shipments?

    Colleague in NZ purchases six test machines - all seems well. Purchases two full containers - all products fail in field within days. Has to sell machines as spare parts.

    @desA - does'nt the goods have a guarantee ? of any kind ? that is one of my fears too, if something goes wrong ... what do you do ?

    Most imported goods don't have a guarantee from manufacturer - especially if you have paid upfront for the goods.

    The guarantee is offered by the local importer.
