Now you can see what your Mayor and his/her executive earn

Need a reason to burn your arse besides a one meter high flame

See what the 'Maverick' has to say

With service delivery protests breaking out around the country, and the Auditor-General's revelations on the horror show that is municipal finances in SA, wondering what your local mayor is worth might be a burning question. Thanks to a data-journalism tool created by Media 24 Investigations you can now find out, and do something about it if she or he isn’t worthy every cent they’re getting. By MANDY DE WAAL.

What they should do is an excercise as to what the top posts cost per capita for each municipality. Now that would be truly revealing.

Thanks for the info Wynne. Forget about my bum, Im using a telescope right now to look for the top of my head somewhere out there in outer space!
It is astounding just how we, as a progressive, more intelligent (relative to the number of years man has been around) society have allowed ourselves to be hoodwinked into allowing these mostly lethargic and inefficient municipalities to evolve into cash eating cows. Again underlines the evil of politics and the web of deceit they spin.

Knowledge is a dangerous thing, that is why the information bill is being introduced to prevent knowledge from being diseminated and turning the populace into a danger for the politicians who are hoodwinking us.
