    Tutu Tatie?

Imagine an elderly man of the cloth, living rent free in bishops court. Who provided a Christian face for the ANC when whites feared the worst. Who helped put in power the vilest, most depraved scum. Who seems entirely oblivious to the cost of corruption, the enslavement of South Africans by utterly evil multinationals and criminal syndicates. Brutal genocide, torture, two rapes every ten seconds, drug testing 50% positive in primary schools, collapse of infrastructure, healthcare etc.

His answer to these issues as usual is to blame whites and insist we need to be taxed more. Now has this decorated and internationally acclaimed "saintly" negro gone off the deep end? Has his brain become home to some of Mugabe's bot-fly larva? Has years of ignoring his contribution as Satan's helper cracked his grasp on reality? or has he always been nuts?

He didn't just point the finger at whites with the 'once off tax' suggestion, he also had plenty to say about MP's and privileged blacks as well.

I must have missed that part. I still think he should take a little responsibility for the current leadership. Also It's been over a decade.

I think his gripe is more about the rich/poor divide. The news has focused only on his comments about whites being in a beneficial position still as a legacy of apartheid which is more about their agenda than Tutu's.

          Gents,

I belong to another forum in which this very topic was discussed, please feel free to pop into it and read the comments, and please do yourself a favour, and actually watch the video there which refers to the said speech.

Our media is bent on polarizing what is said to sell news, and in turn we lap it up.

resplendent.... inflection..... kleptocracy.....they use big words on that forum

Seriously, thanks for the link. It's great to see they're also in (eventual) agreement that it's the sensational and biased reporting of his speech that's causing a ruckus, not so much what Tutu actually said.

It looks like a paid subscription forum similar to TFSA. How much is the subscription fee?

                  Hi Andy,

Yes it is a paid subscription forum. I think it is R50 or R100 a month, can't remember, just know that it has been more than worth while. You can register for a period with out a subscription to get a feel of what is available inside. If you like you stay, if you don't like it, then simple cancel.

This is a spin off forum from 'Business Warriors' started by Pete Curruthers (Petes Weekly)
He closed the warrior forum and these guys ran with the gap they are mostly good people as I remember.
