Petrol Prices around the world!

the presented data is amazing and hard to believe that the petrol prices are so low in these countries . the main reason that the india is net importer of crude oil that's why we get so expensive petrol

Something that would be interesting to see is which one of these countries have government regulated petrol prices. I'm sure those figures will be greatly influenced by such practices?

For example the uk mac rate is (I think) round about a 6,5:1 ratio which would be in the region of R7.70 a litre, say 3/4 of our rate. So it is relatively cheaper over on that side - far different and more beneficial than the R18.02/lt comparison per the exchange rate list.

Quite right, fuel in Saudi Arabia might look to us as being at 94c/lt but when it is compared to the average per-capita income it's only about the equivalent of 24c/lt. Venuzuela might look good at 29c but is probably closer to R23.92. These figures are really just an educated thumb-suck, perhaps someone can give us the actual average per-capita income and how much of this is disposed on transport costs?
