    Giant Durban Garage Sale

I received this from a friend, and thought that you Durbanites may be interested to go....

    Sawubona,

It's official – “I'm leaving on a jet plane”. We're packing and heading for Ulster for a few years to try some new adventures. But, with only 23kg per person we can't take our couches with.

Everything is going on our garage sale on Saturday 24th of February 2007, but, you're invited to a sneak preview sale the night before. Come round between 1700 and 2100 on Friday night and you can beat the general public and take advantage of our departing

We're selling everything from the lounge to the potato peeler. Clothes, toys (kids and big boys), power tools – I think I own every tool ever made, computers, disco equipment, furniture, beds, kitchen appliances (not the wife though), camping equipment - the works.

I've taken my chainsaw to the prices – we've got to get rid of everything in a hurry so we know we have to sell it off at massively lower than what we could get if we waited a little.

Because our time is limited we're selling on a first come first serve basis so if you want anything act sooner rather than later. I do still have a credit card machine so you don't have to miss out waiting for pay day.

We're at Kingfisher Creek Nursery - 69 Torquay Avenue, Fynnlands on the Bluff. Map enclosed in case you don't know where it is.

The location rings a bell. Is this for Peter Bowen?

Yebo. I was quite surprised, but it seems like he is off to explore a new opportunity (not too sure what). There was no major event, or business meltdown that resulted in him deciding to go.

Reckon I better stop by, even if it ends up being just to wish him all the best for the future.

I'm sure he would appreciate that.

We lose one more "brain" and them some.

We are not switching the lights off in SA, just slowly turning the dimmer switch in the "off" direction.

            Pete is off to Ireland.

Pete is indeed off to Ireland with the whole family. I saw him last week and he seem to be looking forward to it, a new adventure I suppose

Wishing him all the best, and yes Dave I think he'll really appreciate you dropping in if you have'nt yet, he's still here this week.
