It's a little ironic in an age when we worry about greenhouse gas emissions that Coca Cola ran out of CO2!!
Coca-Cola South Africa (Pty) Ltd announces that the carbon dioxide (CO2) supply shortage that has plagued the Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) industry in the past three months is finally over.
"This will lead to a gradual return, over the next few weeks, to full availability of all our CSD products," the company said.
"As we said in our first statement in October, CO2 is a key ingredient used in the production of CSDs. Its shortage resulted in our bottling partners experiencing difficulties in obtaining sufficient supplies from the primary CO2 suppliers in the industry.
