Merry Christmas??

Well we're into October already and it's about 9 weeks till Christmas. By this time of year I usually have about R250,000 squirreled away in a separate account to cover Christmas bonuses, 13th cheques and some of it to carry the business through the Christmas-New Year period when income is down.

This year we had a couple of quieter months at the beginning of the year and I can tell you now that it's going to be tight for Christmas. The fund is standing at around R150,000 at the moment so I just wanted to give everyone here plenty of notice that Christmas is officially canceled.

A good third quarter would certainly be appreciated on my end.

On the flip side, it's also my experience that the merrier the Christmas, the bigger the hangover in January.

things have been a little quiet this year...at least it gave me the opititunity to get my new hobby up an running...unfortunaley i have had to start working a full day again and weekends to try keep up...if i had a R150 grand in a another account i woould off on holiday....and pay my vehicle off and have a really good christmas with lots of presents for everyone and take the rest of the year off now you know why i dont.

I have read all of this thread and I know that I started to know all of you.
Though we don't have chiristmas day holiday, I would say merry christmas to all of you,my friends.
At first, I was excited by the coming of the 2010 christmas because I thought this is a good chance to promote our goods in western countries. But after Andy D told us his Budget reduce on this christmas, I find it's hard for us to extend at his time.
Anyhow, I respect you guys more cause you have noticed christmas before we have started to concern about it.
