I thought I'd share my story with you on Placing Job Specifications on line

Last night we placed adds for new positions we had received from our clients, like Project Managers, Technical Developers and SNR Software Testers.

After getting back from a meeting this morning my inbox was inundated with CV's, YAY!

We had received a CV of an applicant who had applied for the Tech Dev job. The CV was of a developer, so we thought. I contacted the applicant regarding his experience in the industry.

When I spoke to him his English wasn't very clear, so I proceeded to ask him about his working experience in software development, unfortunately he wasn't making much sense.

I then asked him what kind of software development languages he is currently using?

I got "Zulu and Sotho"

Turns out he is a welder...

Just what did the CV say that led you astray?

Dave unfortunately he used his friends CV and never changed the contents only the personal details, but still he applied for the position.
