Do you like the sound of the VUVUZELA

Do do listen to loud music now and then and I can tolerate noise. One thing for sure is I personally cannot tolerate the sound of the vuvuzela. Whats your view?

We've got to get an edge at the World Cup somehow, I reckon

well, it's been in the news that other countries seem to think that the vuvuzela is a weapon of some sorts... So I can just imagine the teams getting onto the pitch and seeing all these guys in the crowd with vuvuzelas pointed directly towards them... they'll pee themselves and play crap. How else would Bafana make it to the finals?

The sound of a VUVUZELA is similar to that of dinosaurs mating. Now considering there will be thousands of these VUVUZELA’s being used in the 2010 sceptical, it may well be considered as sociological advantage. When the visiting countries hear this sound that was basically lost for millions of years while competing. They will run around thinking that mating dinosaurs is about to step on them. It is a brilliant plan...

Well, we might as well get used to it. The Soccer World Cup is around the corner. It's going to become more intense.

I simply don't like the sound of a vuvuzela, and I will never like that sound.

Is it the sound that we should be worrying about?

Apparently the CSIR (I thnk) has been doing some research into our traditional musical (?!) instrument of choice for soccer matches, and is particularly worried about the potential spread of TB during the World Cup.

The darn things are purpose build to spray droplet infections all over the people below and around you on the stands! This includes TB, bird/swine 'flu and a whole host of other nasties.

As for the noise, we are about 1km as the crow flys away from one of the stadiums, so I will definitely be making plans to be somewhere else for the day/s or else we are guaranteed to have at least a headache by the end of the day.
