    IPL cricket tickets

OK, this is not business related at all, just venting irritation and anger and disbelief

So there I stood in the queue early this morning, braving the nippy Gauteng autumn weather, patiently waiting for the ticket office to open (amongst people who spent the night in their cars???), when some brave guy appears from nowhere 15 minutes before they are supposed to open and casually announces: "no ticket sales today for the semis and finals as "IPL has not agreed on ticket prices yet".

    Only in South Africa???

Can't you get them on computicket.com . We also want to try and book.

They are supposed to sell them on Computicket, but then one is limited to 6 tickets per card/order. And I also do not want to take a chance on a slow/crashed website. Already the queue outside Wanderers this morning @ 6h30 is substantial, so wish me luck as you wave me goodbye......

Now you are going to hate me for this one.

But that is why my family and I invested in a 32” Sony with surround sound and DSTV for this year only... “It is really getting expensive these DSTV subscriptions” anyway we can now follow the action and still practice good hygiene.
