          um 0_0 that's hectic. I can understand if it's internet explorer and it crashes, but not if it expects you to shut down...

          I've used bitdefender before... was not impressed.
          please go to help, About Internet Explorer in the top bar (where files, etc resides) and check that number. If it is version 6.something, or 7, please download the latest version (8) here Most sites are stopping support for ie 6, so if you're on it, may be why.

          otherwise, if you're on 8, try putting the site into "compatibility view." might help you get around a bit easier.

          otherwise I'd suggest using another virus scanner as a check (avast , AVG)
