I feel that part of the problem is that we have a culture and media which sensationalises stupidity, reckless comments, and just about anything which can be inflated into a headline.
How important would Julius Malema be if he was never reported on (because in reality he is saying irrelevant stupid things)? Mass media is pretty warped and seeks out conflict and sensation rather than reality.

Reading the latest rantings of Julius is oftentimes the highlight of my day. There is something rather special about a person who can claim eliminating all resistance as due democratic process.
I'm expecting one of that gang to walk on water any day now.Participation is voluntary.
