Please move this thread if I put it in the wrong section.

I have been thinking about adding a news section to my blog. Because of time constraints, I won't be able to write any of the news stories myself. Is there any way I can use one of the local news providers' articles? I will give credit on all the articles, but I want to know a bit more about legal implications. Would I need permission first, or would a "Source: " link be sufficient? Are there any providers that offer free content for your blog?

You would have to look at the terms and conditions of the site you are pulling the news from.

Many news sites have no problem with you pulling headlinesand will even have a script readily available you can use. When it comes to content , this is normally limited to an extract.
