Depends which cycle you are on. I am on the one and my wife on the other, so I also have a VAT day every month.

The return still has to be filed by the 25th. You're right though, at least the account drain itself only happens on the last working day of the month.

Take a closer look at the top of your efiling return,

"LAST DAY FOR RENDERING RETURN AND PAYMENT VIA eFiling: 30/06/2008"

Thanks for the reminder I forgot about VAT will do it now.

I have it logged as a monthly occurrence on my Google Calendar and it emails me a reminder on the day I have set it for. Works quite nicely for monthly returns like VAT and PAYE. I also have my annual returns noted in the same way (e.g. CIPRO, provisional tax).

At least I get an email reminding me in case I cam suffering from CRAFT disease at the time.
