" Horse medicine " now approved by FDA.

Well well, the " horse medicine " Ivermectin, is now approved for off label use by the FDA.
It may now be prescribed by medical professionals for the treatment of TIPKAI.

The word Ivermectin it seems has also been removed from the list of banned words which if used a year or 2 ago would have resulted in one's social media account being closed on a number of platforms.

It is amazing, or should we say suspiciously amazing as to the timing of this decision by the FDA.

Anyway, I suppose they have their good reasons.

    Have a super day.

Did the FDA prohibit doctors from making off-label prescriptions?

Yes. That's why these 3 doctors took the FDA to court. If you remember here in SA doctors were not allowed to prescribe Ivermectin for the treatment of TIPKAI. That's why those who wanted it bought from vetinary supply stores where no prescriptions are required.

OK. I completely missed that part of the story. My impression was that the story is that the FDA was confirming doctors' right to give off-label prescriptions. Didn't see anything about a court case.

A friend who is a part-time vet has been using Ivermectin for some time. She assists as a vet to the less fortunate communities with their dogs and cats, but now makes her own natural medicine for humans, a route I'm now following, especially with motivationaldoc on YT. Just so glad I was never into meds from chemist.
