    Lockdown level 3 regulations

    Hi all

Just been going through the regulations and cannot find anything instructing companies to insist on customers providing their personal details on entry.

Numerous stores have a clipboard and insist on you providing your name and cellphone number before allowing you entry. ( I provide a false name and number everytime)

Is this a regulatory requirement ? Don't think so otherwise EVERY company will be compelled to do so, or are these companies using covid 19 as an excuse to build up a database for themselves ?

Hi Derek. I have assumed that, should one of their employees contract the virus, they could contact everyone who may have been exposed.
