I designed and made a clock yesterday for a special young lady's 18th birthday.

The compass serves to remind us that there is a time and place for everything,
that we have to be mindful of the path that we are on,
and that we should never forget where we come from.

Try capewatch or uniclox. We bought several years ago so not sure if they still sell the kits.

We get them from BJ Oberholzer or Cape Watch.

They are readily available and cheap. - You should be able to get them very easily in Durban

LOL - I make it up as I go along. I have full access to a 300 Watt plasma cutter as well. The plan is to make some steel stuff too.

I'm left handed, I write practically upside down and my own notebooks start from the back page bottom going up so yeah, I should really make one for myself.

That is another clock that I made, it is the same size as a railways number plate.

Why do that? Just put the battery in back to front.....
