    School project help

    Hello!
I am a student from the Netherlands and I’m doing a school project about post-apartheid South Africa. I would like to know more about your opinion and experience regarding the current situation in South Africa.
It would be a big help if you could fill out a short survey for me. It will only take a few minutes. Thanks in advance!

You need to make changes to your survey because your use of terminology is confusing.

The word "Colored" in South Africa refers to a specific racial group. which is neither white not black but rather somewhere in between.
The word "mixed" in my mind refers to "mixed race"

Just check that when you refer to "colored" people in your questions whether you do not actually mean black people. You could also use the term "People of color" which generally (American English) refers to all non-white people.

Thank you for your reply and filling out the survey.
I changed 'mixed' to 'even amount of each', because that's what I meant with mixed, a mix of the above answers. I understand now that 'mixed' isn't the right word choice so it might have been confusing.
With coloured I refer to people who aren't classified as black nor white, just like that during apartheid there where 3 major groups/races: black, white and coloured. I'm doing research on the coloured group during apartheid and post-apartheid, so that's why I use the term 'coloured'.

Under apartheid (and as clearly demonstrated in the tricameral governance period), there were actually four major groups/races - add Indian/Asian to the mix
