Maybe I'm just being biased, but I think the only team standing between us and the world Cup this year is the All Blacks. A two horse race.

Does anyone see any other teams as a real threat to us?

With Argentina beating France 17-12 in the opening match, it could be a tournament of surprises. We had high expectations for the Cricket World Cup too.

But that being said...

Go Bokke! Bring home the cup. We know you can do it.

Taking a look at the RWC results to date, the Northern Hemisphere teams look like they're going to have to get their act together right fast.

The teams that seem to be contenders are South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina.

If both we (ZA) and NZ are top of our respective pools, then the first possible time we would clash with them would be in the finals. This also gives Aus the chance to take them out before the finals

I'm updating this log the old fashioned way (counting fingers and toes), but I suppose I could make up a spreadsheet to do the job if you want one.

That led to an interesting trail. It seems the trick is to use iGoogle, and you can add the iGoogle rugby app here.

Google has a single login per user system. If you log into any of their services (Gmail, analytics, webmasters) it is always with the same username/password. You'll also notice some stuff in the top right when you google, which shows your user name and so forth. In case you did not know, Google keeps personal information about the searches you make for up to 18 months I think. There is a way to access your search trends, I just can't remember where.
