Can I claim for pool chemicals?

Sorry, my mistake.

Could I claim a portion of the cost of chemicals that I need to keep my firepool in good condition?

My wife works from home - so a portion of some expenses are deducted - but always looking for more..

My house is not thatched, does that make a difference?

The test is whether the expenses sought to deducted are required for the business.
As example, the rental deduction should be in proportion to the office space to total space ratio.
You may be able to justify an operating cost portion.
