    Neutralizing static electricity

What is the best way of neutralizing lots of polystyrene chips in a box or a bag?

Try tumble dryer sheets they work reasonably well
Only stress when you can change the outcome!

Anti static bag? You also get anti-static bubble wrap on large rolls.

Great, but I have lots and lots of polystyrene chips already that stick to everything. Couldn't I connect myself to earth and stick my hand in it or something?

Polystyrene is a notorious creater of static especially when there's lots of it in small pieces. The only way I could think to prevent it is by using anti-static spray you used to get for the old CRT monitors or maybe a fine mist of water from a trigger action sprayer. I doubt earthing yourself will help.

The water mist is a good idea, I'll give it a try in the morning.
