    Need SA console gamer stats

    Hay guys.

A very interesting link, looks like the console gaming market might be a good sector to invest in!

Hell by reading the heading I feared for the worse, perhaps you crashed your car in a forest or something, stranded you posted a sos on TFSA

Perhaps visit the console websites and look around. You might want to ‘contact’ them and ask how many consoles are online in SA. Perhaps even console-internet-gamer websites/forums etc.

LOL When I posted I thought the same thing. "Shit these people are going to think I'm dying" hahaha

It's just urgent that i need these stats for work. I'm trying to make contact with Sony (Not an easy task)

Regards to the article. yeah i was shocked to see how the stats are increasing for console and decreasing for PC. I guess that's the reason why we havn't seen GTA V on PC. And yes, investing might be a good idea. lol

Of the bat I can point you to internet Usage and Marketing Report and Internet Users Stats for South Africa but they are not as new as you would like them to be.

Tec I looked at those two links and they provide internet stats SA, they don’t have info on on-line console gamers in SA, that I could see. Seems tricky to find.

It comes down to what is published for example Steam download stats for SA it does give you a limited view because most games are steam based thus perhaps it will help. I will take a more detailed look and paste more links

Shot Tec, I am sure it’s out there somewhere

There seems to be a very strong trend towards online console gaming. I just wonder if/when a new tech might change the game, replacing xbox and play station. What about the console merging with the TV? (Samsung, LG)

Yeah the only headway I seemed to make was contacting Sony. They havn't gotten back to me yet. Just a confirmation of request received was sent to me.
