China is in a far worse place inflation/bubble price wise than US. Far worse multiple wise.

Food, Energy, Raw Material dependency is higher.

Population size is only good if you can effectively deploy it and it does not hinder your internal survival when autarky(economic) is imposed.

China is over estimating its' ability. On paper its a thundering behemoth, in life the quality control you get in its' nails does flow through to the turbine jet blades of the copied planes it has.
[long story short their jet engine blades crack which means the engine can go dead in air and the plane becomes a flying anvil]


Has there actually been testing of its missiles? that was independently confirmed like it is usually with Russia?

All they need are a couple of Nuclear ICBMs to get through, nothing more. Those missiles don't need to be designed by themselves, Russia makes some really nifty missiles. Never f*ck with an enemy unless you are able to cope the the capabilities of its allies. The Americans are going to get a nasty surpirse one day when they go screwing around in another country again. I think that the entire world are getting tired of their Gung Ho f*ck everybody we can do as we please attitude.
