Everybody must read this, you would not think that you could get ripped off this way

An adult instructs a seven year old to steal a cellphone out of an open handbag in Norwood. She then watches the kid do it. All caught on CCTV. I wonder if this will make it into the SA media

That is a scary video. When I see what precautions people don't take

I always try to put my laptop in the boot and my wife and kids always put there handbags in the boot. I consoled a woman a few years ago who had a smash grab right next to me on a highway off ramp she had just been paid and cashed her first paycheck in months with the money in her handbag behind the passenger seat. A druggie looking guy smashed the window grabbed the bag and ran off into the open veld before any of us knew what had happened.

The thing is sometimes with the punishment the thief is better off in jail than outside so it is not punishment.

I just wonder whether this will show up in the SA media. I'm going to post it all over Facebook to make sure that people are aware of it

I feel for the 7 year old. Her prospects in life have been tainted so early. That mother deserves a good hiding.

I wonder if SA mainstream media will really give it any attention since it is politically incorrect to do so...

A simple device most people can make themselves is to lift the carpet on the floor of the passenger seat and build a simple false floor with a locking trapdoor with enough space to put your laptop in so it can't be seen from outside the car, then relay the carpet over this!!

I have something similar, mine is a secret place under the dashboard. I only really use it going to Gangsters Paradise though, never in Natal though because we chill here

On the Jazz you get compartments under the back seats which you can use for papers. Now when driving in traffic in Gauteng you have to use the re-circulation to avoid second hand smoke from the guys in front holding the cigarette out of the window. I smelt smoke this morning and the lady in front was holding her cancer stick out to share it with the rest of us.

It is hectic, but a question does arise. That camera is not a still camera. It is moving, therefore someone is controlling it. Do you think they warned security straight away? Because if not, it was a waste of time having that camera !

Video camera and security means nothing if there is no laws...

Laws mean nothing if nobody fears punishment if caught. They are like 4 year old who love sitting in the naughty corner because its nice and warm there.
