Silly question, but if you are doing the survey out of Cape Town why are the values not in rands?

Yes not sure what the survey is all about. I already have a monitor in my home. I already buy my electricity online and I do buy it in Rands And I don't really give a damn what my neighbours spend on electricity. They might have 4 heaters and 4 electric blankets which does not affect me.

That survey is missing a critical question - would you like to be able to monitor your energy consumption via your phone?
After all, you get the bill, and you can extract your consumption from there.

Frankly, I think a reasonably priced device that monitors power quality is more attractive to me...
