Programable LED Display

I am looking to buy the above in about 2000+ x 500 mm. Preferably 2 colors. These things are very expensive. Any idea of where to get the best deal?

What is the catches to watch out for? What should one look for in the spec's? It must be 100% outdoor. I want to use it as an advertising board to catch the traffic's attention. So movement, light, size, double line is important. Must be able to scroll or flash a direction arrow as well.

The Escom is too busy. maybe just two lines. Also thinking of doing a sign like the Succeed sign.

Have you checked out ebay? Link. I'm not sure what you call expensive but there's loads of options available for ZAR1-3K and they make them for car/truck applications which would definately be weather proof and could probably by run using a 12v solar system.

No, did not consider ebay, but will have a look to judge local pricing. Transport will kill it, cost wise. 2000x500mm
