Over the last few years i have been copying and pasting email addresses from people that have submitted a form looking for info on our products. I have somehow corrupted that database. I Have all the original incoming emails on my machine. Is there any software or easy way for me to extract the email addresses without cutting and pasting...there are over 1500.
Hi Nigel - am not too sure about Windows Live Mail but with Outlook express all you need do is open the mail - point at the address and right click. You are then given the option to add it to your address book.

That sounds easier, although with 1500 of them my mouse and finger will be worn out...but i suppose if i do it bit by bit could work..thanks
Perhaps a email to P Curruthers to ask him what the program he used to extract emails from your computer, I remember on the Old Warriors web site there was one that he recommended, it also collected emails from saved data on your hard drive and memory.
PS I send all my quotes and collected email addresses to a gmail account as back up (costs nothing)
