    What is the name of this tree?

    Margaret took this picture of a tree with her cellphone in the Gateway Shopping Centre yesterday.

    Can anyone identify it?

      Your mystry plant is a lady palm (Raphis excelsa). They are not commonly available.
      They are a hardy palm, that can be grown indoors or outside in the shade. They multiply by making side shoots.
