    Securi-Prod DVR for home surveillance

    Hi

I have a Securi-Prod DVR home surveillance unit installed at home. The person who installed it has gone missing since and never bothered to supply me a user manual or the system login credentials. Needless to say, I now have DVR unit that records all the time, but I cannot view playbacks of events, as the unit requires the system login credentials.

Does anyone know anything about these units (in terms of the default login credentials) and better yet, have a digital copy of the user manual? I searched for a manual on the Internet but could not find anything.

    Thanks!

And that is the reason that u must not accept the cheapest quote at the time - too many fly by nights.

      Hi Kevinb

Do you have a Securi-Prod DVR unit or a digital copy of the user manual?

Your best bet would be regal security for after sales service of Securiprod. http://www.regalsecurity.co.za/Contact/Branches.aspx

          Hi all,

I've found out that the Securi-Prod brand is the same as the Apollo or Zeus brand. Searching on google for "Zues 4 channel DVR" should find what you're looking for.

In fact, this link is incredible:

There are links to many different manuals plus links to firmware updates. Did you know that there are mobile phone apps that allow you to view the monitors on your smartphone?

          Good luck guys

              Hi Pofadder
I had the same problem and could not get help anywhere. I then did what I do with my PC when I want to wipe the BIOS memory. Open the case and remove the 3 volt standby battery on the inside for a few minutes (10) with the power supply disconnected. Replace, power up and you can access the MAIN MENU without a password. Create a new user and password you can use in the future.

              Good luck
