Does anyone buy their own Health Insurance?

I am still looking for insurance but it is SO expensive!!! Something will come along and I have faith in it. Although company have paid the charges, i wanna to buy another one for myself. After all, it is a kind of investment.

I buy my own. I asked my HR department for help and they got me in contact with an insurance broker that they use. He was able to get me an amazing deal (cheaper than what I was paying at work) for really good insurance.

Insurance in the truest sense of the word isn't an investment, there are no returns you just pay through the nose for peace of mind.

Are you talking about insurance or some kind of savings scheme?

I think insurance should be considered an investment because our variable life policy and our monthly premiums go into mutual funds. Also from term and whole life, it benefits us.
