    Car Values Book

    Hello,

Does anyone know where I could get a copy of a book that has all the cars, different models and years with there values?

Similar to how the insurance companies have values of all vehicles book values\trade values.

    Thanks,

As far as I know it's only available to the trade. If you have a buddy who has a buddy who knows someone, you can ask them for one of their back issues

There's a subscription fee that traders pay every month, the values are also updated every month. I'm in the financial planning and insurance industry, if you like pm me the vehicle model, year, transmission and etc and I'll check the trade and retail values for you.

I normally get the values I need from my insurance broker.

I have to agree - the test I did, the trade-in value came in substantially higher (46%) than the value I got from my broker (which is supposed to be the median of the trade in and retail value).

What might be worth bearing in mind on this one is it does have a particularly low milage for its age - I suspect what the insurers use assumes 30 000km per annum.

The value given by this site for the 2 vehicles I tried also came in very high (30-40% more) than the actual values.
