    Neville's Pic of the Day

Since January this year, I have been maintaining a photo blog - Neville's Pic of the Day.

As some of you might know, I got hooked on photography in August last year, and now I'm quite addicted to it!

Have a look at my blog and tell me what you think. On the blog, there is a "Follow" button at the bottom right of the screen - fill in your email address to get notified whenever I upload a picture.

You can also watch a slideshow of my pics on Flickr here.

    Enjoy!

Hi Neville, Some really interesting pic's. You make it look so easy !

I know you do not go to New York every second week, but don't you have some good shots of the NY skyline ?
I have looked on the web but the pictures are not of high resolution and I need this for lasering a glass pane 860 x 860 mm. So the quality must be good otherwise the lasering comes out poor.

Gosh, Martin - it will be an absolute pleasure to send you some NYC skyline pictures.

When can I expect you to send me the plane tickets?

Meh - made me look at my shots. Unfortunately the "money shots" are on film. (Ones like "Lower Manhattan from Brooklyn next to the Brooklyn Bridge").

I've got some reasonable skyline shots from the top of the Empire State Building in digital, but the light favours the North views - which is OK without being special.

I've always loved the mood of this one in Central Park.

Reminds me of the rather schizophrenic nature of New York.

With temperatures in the mid thirties and the humidity level approaching 100% today, what can beat hanging ten at Gateway's wave house?
At this time in China , most of place are snow and very cold.

                Hi Dave,

The shot with the Chrysler building............................what resolution have you got that in ?
In order to make a good laser photo, one obviously need a) the best possible resolution ( that shot in the order of 5 Mp) and 2) As much contrast as possible which lacks a bit in that pic but maybe I can photoshop a bit. Can I have that one ? If successful I might even send you some lasered glass coasters !
