[Question] info on tax/vat

is there books / reference material locally for tax and vat.
stuff that "normal" ppl understands lol.

almost like a step by step for vat registration for small business, tax info for individuals ... and so on...

a book like that would be great. i'd buy it

SARS has developed some pretty good guides over the years. They're listed here and grouped according to the area of taxation you're interested in.

you call them auditors, accountants and tax consultants just joking

for registration you don't get any books I’m aware of - sars guidelines are pretty good as Dave mentioned

if you are just looking for a book to help you on tax - Huxham or SILKE but it is expensive to buy as you need a new one for each tax year with all the changes
