hi . i wanted the rate in SA. would like to send some phones to SA and was curious to know if it is a worth while venture, depending on the rates.

Lots of people have access to posts on the forum. How many people can access your email account to read your email?

You have a point there Dave, and I think we shall continue this way. My feeling is that it is of a confidential matter then it would be ok to go the email or PM route.

Ok Back to duties : Basically VAT plus Duty. VAT on Phones are 14% on 110% of value + 7% duty on value. Even if you export again you have to pay the VAT upon entry and claim it back again on export. Not sure if you can claim the duty back as well.
