Fast ITR12 tax turn around time

I lodged my tax return via eFiling on Tuesday. My refund was in my account today (Friday).

Obviously the flip side of that is SARS expecting the rest of their money quickly when you owe them....when would you have to pay by?

There is a really nice little tax calculator feature which quickly gives you an estimate due/refund on the return.

Within 30 days, but there are some ifs, buts and provisos as to what penalties and interest might be involved.

Turn around time

I also found the new e-filing system very effective. My turn around time for my IT12 was also around a week or with money paid into my account.
