Please assist me easyfile recon update has error message : adobe air certificate ...I cannot update easyfile.
What to do.? I downloaded adobe air ,but still same error.
From past issues that were similar..... things to try:
Download the full easyfile install from sarsefiling - not just the update that runs when you login to easyfile
Close all programs including outlook. Rightclick the clock in the bottom right of your toolbar and adjust date/time (depending on operating system, eg windows 10 you have to take the "set time automatically slider off then adjust date manually).
Set your PC date back to beginning of March this year, then install easyfile again. This should fix the Adobe Air certificate date range and allow you to install. If not, try setting sate to late last year and repeat.
Once installed, set the date back to today, before opening other programs.
Good afternoon Kevin, I have been pulling my hair out with the same type of problem. I spoke to our local IT Specialist and he advised me that he has had about 8 similar queries about this error. I initially managed to make contact with a person at SARS and when I sent her copies of the error codes she advised me that the fault was not on their side.
I tried to do what you advised Fareed to do, however I do not get past the Adobe Air error message which reads "The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the application author."
I am not sure if you can help me out with this or if there is anybody else that can help me.
Download the full package from Sars efiling website. Go to your control panel / programs and features - remove e@syfile. Run the full install you just downloaded, and allow it to download the java when prompted. E@asyfile 705 seems to install correctly now from the full installation file.
Kevin, the suggestion did not solve the problem for me. However uninstalling all older versions of java did.I only have 8.0.2510.8 and all of a sudden everything worked.
