[Question] SARS eFiling: Request for remission on website not functioning

    Hi there,
Would anyone know how to get over the following hurdle?
On eFiling, when viewing my Administrative penalties, I click on "Dispute", and the website takes me to a page where all my penalties are listed. I select 16 of them (cannot select more), click on "continue" and get this screen shown.
My PDF-software is updated to the latest version (used the link provided), I've rebooted my PC, logged out and logged in a again; nothing works.Click image for larger version

The SARS call-centre isn't staffed due to the lockdown, it seems, so calling SARS doesn't help at all...

Anyone know how to deal with this?

    Thanks in advance...

Try a different browser perhaps firefox. Also click on the lock next to the url and check permissions.

      Thanks for the reply.
I’ve tried Google Chrome - No luck.
      Microsoft Edge - No luck.
Firefox - Automatically opens Firefox Reader, and it worked perfectly.

      Thanks so much, vieome!

I also have penalties, I have proof of payment on SARS website, went on lockdown, when going on to do April returns shows no payment and penalties. I don't have access to bank so called finance and they don't have the payment on their side.. but it was done.. maybe glitch that it didn't pull through to bank?? Also can't get hold of SARS and even if I do I doubt they'll care. Any ideas, ask them to investigate? I had to re-request payment on the website.. see the original one doesn't appear on history.. what bothers me is that if we don't sort out ASAP we appear non compliant unless we pay the penalties just to get the TERS payout.

I had the same errors just after windows 10 upgrade. Your default PDF program is set to microsoft edge, which couldn't open most of the pdf's on sars website. Change it to adobe acrobat and the problems should be resolved.
