[Question] MEDICAL TAX CREDIT QUESTION

Hi there, we use the pastel payroll program. We have an employee who pays her own medical aid. (We do not provide employer medical aid contributions to employees)

She asked us if it is possible whether or not we can still show the medical aid tax credit on its own on her payslip monthly and (obviously then on her IRP5 at year end) for her to be able to claim the med tax credit on a monthly basis? Not sure if I can only show medical tax credit without showing any other codes on payslip about medical aid? Please help?

No , You don't have to show on payslip or IRP5 , she will get credit when she submit tax returns with medical aid certificate showing her monthly contributions
