[Question] CAN I CLAIM MY INCOME TAX BACK?

In 2011 I was employed by government dept. and it was contract for 12months and my gross salary was so lousy to such that it was R18000 p/a... I resigned after 7months with SARS deducting tax all these months I were working.

Thanks for your concern and I'm sorry for the way I came about the matter. I wish to withdraw the word ''lousy''.. It's uncalled for. I didn't know by trying to poke fun I'm pushing away answers. Please give me some insights about the issue.

I know 2011 is some eight years ago, but I suspect R1 500 per month was below the tax threshold even then.

Well it may be like that Sir, but I still have my salary advice/payslip, as proof of deductions it's there.
Also, if you recall my original post I've been called numerous times by the NSFAS to repay the students loan as I were a student in 2009. They say in thei?r records I'm still employed in government whereas I don't.
