    [Question] Easyfile Declaration Greyed out

    Good day all,

I have tried phoning SARS regarding the below matter since 09/05/18 and they are still busy investigating with their technical department.

On easyfile I have the latest version of easyfile, adobe air & java. I have deleted them all and re-installed everything but I still get the same problem.

The problem I have is when I go to the declaration and open it, it's greyed out. The declaration don't open for me to complete. I only see the top buttons which is File, Save, Print and close. I can click on close but the rest don't do anything.

Please can someone advice if they had the same problem and how they fixed it as I am stressing cause the deadline is 31/05/18.

    Thanks in advance.

In years past Easyfile used an older version of Java and some users had to reinstall that version. I think it was Java 7 update 67. Don't know if that could be the issue?

      Fix the emp501 problem

I battled with the same problem and eventually came right yesterday. You have to delete the file emp501.swf and it will then automatically update with a new one. The file is located in Users/username/appdata/roaming/easyfileemployer/localstore/flexiforms
