[Question] Income Tax Query

I need to get my companys Provisional Tax done. Something I have never done. How do I do this?? (using Pastel Xpress v17)

As Neville explained yesterday elsewhere, Pastel is an accounting software package and is only going to take you so far in getting your company's provisional tax return done.

How complicated are the company's tax affairs?
Are you having to depreciate fixed assets over multiple years?
Does the company qualify for a preferential tax regime?
All questions that your accounting package is not going to answer...

If you're entirely unfamiliar with tax affairs, I recommend you find a bookkeeper as minimum, but preferably a tax practitioner to walk you through at least your first year.

Hi Dave, I understand that but I should extract the info needed from Pastel which is why I mentioned it.

Companys tax affairs not complicated at all - only been trading since Jan, VAT registered since March
No depreciation

(which is why Im trying to do it alone)
