[Question] E@syfile opening issues

Hello

It is that time again when some of us struggle with e@syfile and this year it is my turn

I updated E@syfile from within the program and gave error message - can't remember the exact wording. I then proceeded to uninstall E@syfile and download the new version from SARS. When I try to open E@syfile, the little clock goes round and round and does not open the program. A few years back, when this happened, it had to do something with Adobe Air and the version you were running - at that time you couldn't be on the latest version of Adobe.

For those who have the latest E@syfile running, what version of Adobe Reader and Adobe Air are you running and what other tricks can I try to get this program to open?

I am running Windows 10 64-bit

Hi Heidivf - I have Java 7 update 64 in both 32 and 64 bit installed. Flash Player 25.

Thanks - I think my java is the culprit. Fixing it now and holding thumbs

Where did you get Java 7 update 64 in both 32 and 64.

My e@syfile has greyed out areas and doesn't allow me to restore or synchronize. I have java 6 update in both 32 and 64bit as they suggested and also the java 7 update 80 in both 32 and 64bit.

Please if anyone could helped I would appreciated it. It been over 9 days with different combinations and nothing works. I'm on windows 10 v1607.

Hi JaredAdd - I see on the Easyfile info it says:

Java 6 is required (both JAVA and AIR included in e@syFile Employer setup file). Later versions of Java may be used, but version 6 must be installed as well . Should you experience any problems or need more information click the button below.

I did all of that and still nothing. If anyone has any other solutions, I would be grateful.

Hi JaredAdd - You didn't comment on your Adobe Flash player. Is that up to date?

It also appears to be important with this update that any previous version of Easyfile gets uninstalled before the latest is installed. I assume that you have done that?
