EMP201 onceoff submissions possible? new company

    Hi All,

I want urgent help regarding the following situation...

I have started with a new company and had to register it for PAYE / UIF and got all related reference numbers and Efiling up and running.

My Question is, the 2 directors took money throughout the year "salaries" as money came in... they do want to pay PAYE on that and they both
want IRP5's. Now I think I must submit all the EMP201 returns from 1 March 2016 till 28 Feb 2017. What I wanted to know is can I submit from
March 2016 till January 2017 as Nil? Then for the month of Feb 2017 ill submit 1 EMP201 with the whole years totals on it.... im not sure if this
is the correct way to do this. From the new Tax year (March 2017) onwards ill do it the way it was suppose to be done monthly...

Please would someone help me how to get this year behind me and if its possible to submit as 1 return with all the years numbers on?

    Thanking you in advance !

Why do they want IRP5's? The end of the year is already here, I would rather have them pay provisional tax?

Hi Mango, Yes, you can submit all as nil and declare a lump sum on Feb. Should SARS do a review you can just explain the situation to them that the accountants has only now specified the drawings as salary and that is why you declare all in one go. I have done it on a number of occasions without any penalty from SARS.
always fear when Christel is near....
