SAGE/VIP Payroll setup of medical credits

Where on SAGE/VIP Payroll Premier can I setup number of members so that employee get medical credit deduction monthly? Employer offers no benefits or contributions, only private contributions to a fund by employee self.

    Hi belza81,

Not too sure about the Premier version but in mine you go to Member - Statutory - (select middle tab "Medical Aid") - and enter no of members/dependents.

Then on the member's payslip tab the following numbers are used:
    7085 - Medical Aid Private
8000 - Medical Aid Tax Credit Applied
8002 - Medical Aid Tax Credits.

The amount paid by the member gets entered into 7085 and the program does the rest.

The following numbers also appear on the member's payslip my version but are all zero, so not sure whether they are compulsory or not:
    6170 Medical Aid Capped amount
    6172 Medical Aid Fringe Benefit
    6174 Medical Aid Tax deduction
