I had something similar last year. No technological failures, but the survey itself really had me scratching my head at times.
For example, I didn't see fuel as an overhead cost - the survey seemed to think it was.
Then there were some local vs imported product source questions that actually would have taken significant research for me to answer with any degree of accuracy.
Haven't been tapped again this year, but I did get a call from a friend about this round (as in - is it genuine?).
Well, I don't really have an issue filling in a short survey if it has a remote chance of helping sars better understand our difficulties and our views. But it does have to be simple otherwise I couldn't be bothered.
Sure, by all means and I generally do give feedback a lot, even give suggestions, but in almost all cases it has no impact so I leave it. To the contrary most organisations tend to defend the issue and want to fob one off instead of saying, thanks for the constructive criticism and we will look into it.
Especially SARS. I brought up an issue three times (once every year) and they still did nothing about it. So that is why I gave up hope that SARS is even capable of listening.
