    I got this message yesterday via email and sms. Do I have to do anything about it or are they just letting me know that they sent it?

    An IT34 Notice for the tax payer listed below has been issued by SARS. Please log into the SARS eFiling system to view the IT34.

      It means that you have been assessed, and you should probably check it.

          Hi - My IT34 was returned on efiling almost immediately. I received the sms a few days later and then the email. No change had been made so I presume that these notifications just took a little longer in coming.

              I see I've received one for the last 4 years. Maybe it's a auto reply if SARS have to pay you money.

                  I always get those sms almost instantly. Its their computer who sends them.
