    SARS - ITREGVER Letters not opening in Easyfile

    Hello All

    I have just registered with the forum and new to this.

    I need help with opening of the ITREGVER letter in the SARS easyfile programme.

    I am on version 6.5.1. I sync my account and the letter appears in the notification section. Once I click to open a clock appears to show it is opening. However the letter never opens and evenutally the programme times out due to inactivity. I have contacted SARS with with ni luck in resolving the issue. I need to urgently update some employees tax numbers before submitting the reconciliation.

    The letter itself is just a notification, I think. It doesn't actually activate the changes in the employee details.
    And yes, at times the notifications do take ages to open. My suggestion would be to try well outside of normal working hours. I find SARS's servers far more responsive outside of working hours.

    But the other thing you can do is return to the list of employees. If the Bulk IT Reg button is showing, click it to see the registration status of the employees, and see if anything has changed. (When the Bulk IT Reg button isn't showing, the list shows the registration status anyway).
