    SARS Advalorem

I moved my business from Midrand to Fourways 2 years ago and was fined R1500 by SARS for not informing them even though my quarterly returns have always been completed with the new address.
SARS argue that this form goes only to the billing department and not to the relevant section and I should have filled out a specific form.
This is complete arrogance on their part they expect me to know all their rules we are a small business and dont employ administrators just to study their forms.
Am I suppose to know that their departments cannot talk to each other, if the arrogant inefficient and bureaucratic
departments carry on this way businesses will be long gone and they will end up trying to collect income in a wasteland.

    I absolutely agree with you!

SARS needs to improve its game, especially when it comes to making things simpler for SMME's.
